Hey Dems, the Time to Celebrate is Over – It Is High Time to Attack that 78-Year-Old Criminal Head-on.

Most Democracy-loving Americans felt a jolt of joy when Joe Biden stopped resisting the inevitable, stepped out of the race, and endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris as the Democratic Party’s candidate for President of the United States. When learning about it, all freedom-loving, anti-dictatorship Americans gave a well-deserved, deep and long sigh of relief. Now there is hope of survival for American Democracy.

But this is no time to embark ourselves on a long wave of triumphalism. The time to celebrate has already been exhausted. The Republicans were caught flat footed, unawares of the tectonic political shift that was about to take place and that now has already occurred. But they are already recouping and regrouping and are currently putting together the lowest, filthiest-possible, immoral, ad hominem attacks against Kamala Harris.

That kind of immoral attacks cannot be fully repealed by explaining in detail to the public the benefits that Kamala’s general pro-middle class, pro-workers policies would put in place in America. The filthy kind of mud that JD Vance and other authoritarian individuals have been hurling against Kamala can only be neutralized by exposing Donald Trump as the sex-offender, twice-impeached, 4-times indicted, once convicted, criminal that he is.

Trump’s serious criminal transgressions have to be clearly spelled out to the public. Democrats cannot afford to assume that the electorate is well informed about these things. Nor should they assume that Americans always keep such crucial information in mind.

The sharpest political knife the Republicans hold against Kamala Harris is the argument that she failed in her appointed duty to solve the border problem, but that is just another Republican blatant fallacy, as the Biden Administration had already put together a border bill that would have satisfied all Republican demands on that matter, but Trump ordered them to kill it and they killed it (see here).

This is no longer the time to follow Michelle Obama’s outdated proposition that “when they go low, we go high”. In 2024, that’s a guaranteed recipe for catastrophic failure. Today, the Republican Party is way deep in the mud of shamelessness and amorality. They no longer give a single damn whether the rest of the world is aware of their glaring lack of principles. They just want power at all cost.

The whole world witnessed on their own TV screens as the events of January 6th unfolded and we all know that, if given the opportunity, Republicans will do it again. Worse still, we know that the next time the insurrection might last much longer and be much bloodier than the first. You cannot cool down a rabid dog by giving it friendly taps on the head. Try to do so and it will rip your hand off your arm and even chew-off the rest of your arm if you let it.

This is serious business. No time to dilly-dally. It feels good to have Kamala Harris at the top of the Democratic ticket and it is good to be optimistic about the elections, but the time to celebrate is over. It is the time to grab the bull, meaning the bully bullshitter, by the horns. It is time to attack that 78-year-old criminal, Donald Trump, head-on and in full force.

No respite for that America-hating, convicted-felon, amoral, despicable, traitorous insurrectionist. No more Mr. Nice Democrat. It is again high time to lay bare Donald Trump’s putrid amorality for the whole world to see.
