Angry at Joe Biden but Not a Chance in a Trillion that I Vote Republican in November.

Yes, Joe Biden blew it up sky high in the debate and nothing he may say or do can wash away that deep stain on his reputation as president. His debate performance was highly irresponsible and for that reason any doubts pertaining to his ability to effectively serve as Commander in Chief for four more years are perfectly justifiable.
But I’m mostly angry at him for casting such dark shadows on the possibility of defeating that amoral, proto-Fascist, mendacious demagogue named Trump in November. Even during his pre-arranged, staged interview with George Stephanopoulos, Biden didn’t come across as being aware of the gravity of the situation.
He gave the impression that his wife Jill and all his entourage are shielding him from reality, keeping him in a bubble of misinformation so that he may not fall into despair. The more this whole saga unfolds, the more Biden seems to be out of touch with the gravity of the moment.
Regardless of those troubling shortcomings however, there is not a single chance in a trillion that I may vote for that shameless, traitorous, anti-American individual named Trump. Yes, I’m very angry at Joe Biden, but my anger doesn’t involve hating America like millions of those MAGAmericans seem to do, or betraying the American Democratic and Judicial Systems like the great majority of Republicans presently do.
To be perfectly honest with you, if Mickey Mouse were running against Trump, no doubt I would vote for Mickey Mouse. Meaning that, if the Democrats decide to hold some extraordinary primaries during the Convention and have the delegates replace Biden with Kamala Harris, Gavin Newsom, Gretchen Whitmer, or anybody else, I would vote for whoever the candidate for the Democratic Party may end up being.
To be even clearer: I’m not a Democrat. In my view, the Democratic Party is largely at the service of American capital to the point of very often betraying the American workers, thereby forcing millions of them to migrate to the MAGA ranks. But there are no two ways about this issue.
The only choice America is facing on November 5th is between having an increasingly weak, but still functioning, Democratic System for the next four years, or having an authoritarian, increasingly autocratic regime for an indefinite, unforeseeable future.
In short, whether we like it or not, either we vote Democrat in November, or we will most certainly send the United States as we know it down the authoritarian toilet.
