Naïve Americans Still Expect Rationality From the Depraved Convicted Felon in Chief.

The guy has for years been constantly vomiting on us all those incoherent, warped, devious thoughts that always fester in his corrupt mind, which include a near-total lack of respect for any and all the institutions of the United States Government.
And still, at every turn, every time he says or does something that denigrates or endangers the integrity of those institutions, all those government officials, pundits and reporters express disbelief, dismay, appalment, as if they still expected some modicum of common sense from someone who has time and again proved not to have any.
The guy is a living wrecking ball bent on tearing down anything and bringing down anyone that might be an obstacle to his nefarious authoritarian designs. And every time he wrecks something, humiliates somebody, or manages to sow division and enmity around him, his corrupt ego just grows bigger.
If such depravity could be called a “philosophy”, that would be his: To burn the whole governmental apparatus down to the ground so that he can eventually reign supreme over whatever rubble may be left of it.
You think I’m joking or exaggerating? Just check out the highly unqualified people he has in mind as heads of some of the most vital Departments of the US Government, which are there to uphold the Constitutional order that has kept America together for over 248 years, which he calls “The Deep State”.
Knowingly or not, in so doing the Vulgar Bully is following an extreme doctrine first articulated by the founder of Soviet communism, Vladimir Lenin, which can be encapsulated in the phrase “Worse is Better” (see here).
Trump’s version of that doctrine basically proposes to destroy the “Old Order”, meaning our Constitutional Democracy, and replace it with a “New Order” with him at the undisputable helm standing over a one-party dictatorial system, aided by an all-powerful secret police to suppress dissent, concentration camps for his perceived enemies, and even civil or international war, so as to constantly reaffirm the need for him to stay in power.
The similarities between Trump's and Lenin's line of thinking, however, are not limited to the totalitarian ends they both pursue, but include some of the means used to achieve those nefarious goals. When Lenin asserted that, "Telling the truth is a petty- bourgeois prejudice. Deception, on the other hand, is often justified by the goal", (idem) he just sounded like a much more sophisticated version of Donald Trump, but with the same evil intentions in mind.
And please don’t say that all of these dark scenarios I have presented here are just unrealistic, farfetched musings. Please don’t say that none of it can ever come true in the United States for, if you did, you would fit perfectly well in the same category as those naïve Americans who still expect decency and rationality from our newly-elected, amoral, depraved Convicted Felon in Chief.
As fate will have it, there is no choice for the country but to brace for what’s coming. The only way out of this dire predicament is forward, except that in this case “forward” means first having to go down the already-ordained road toward authoritarianism, whose gates will inescapably open wide for all of us on January 20th, 2025.
