Hey Stupid Democrats! It Is High Time You Took the Gloves Off!

It seems like those stupid, hypocrite, delusional Democrats will never learn. And if they ever wake up to the current political reality of the country, it might by then be already too late to save American Democracy.

They still refuse to accept the fact that the political game in the United States is no longer even the shadow of the way it was merely 30 years ago. The standard, traditional norms that used to guide American political discourse during the Reagan and Clinton years no longer stand.

The moral codes that existed then have already crumbled at the hand of the Republican Party. Yet, the stupid Democrats keep playing by the same old, outdated rules, maybe hoping that in so doing the Republicans will be lured back into the decency fold. They will not!

The Republican Party no longer gives A DAMN about morality or principles. They no longer even care whether their candidates and cabinet nominees are convicted criminals or not. As an example, just take a look at their Party’s standard-bearer, the President-elect of the United States, a brazenly amoral, unprincipled, convicted-criminal, insurrectionist, sexual abuser individual.

But the Democrats still refuse to understand. In the name of a highly-mistaken and misplaced “decorum”, they hold back any forceful, meaningful response to the blatant lies, cynicism, and lack of principles the Republicans keep throwing at them.

Just check out how Pam Bondi, the nominee for Attorney General, refused to answer during her confirmation hearings whether Donald Trump had won the 2020 elections or not (see here). And what did the Democrats do? They just said it was “disturbing” that she did not answer that question.

Disturbing!!? Is that all the anger and intolerance of mockery the Democrats have in them? And what about the confirmation hearings for Pete Hegseth, the nominee for Secretary of Defense?

Yes, the guy has a record of drunken behavior, sexually assaulting women, and association with racist ideas, but those are no longer disqualifying traits in the eyes of the Republican senators. Yet, that is what the Democrats kept centering on, naively expecting to shame the Republicans into derailing Hegseth nomination (see here).

Hey stupid Democrats, have you not yet realized that you cannot shame the Republicans!? The feeling of shame is not an item in the Republicans’ morality menu. But those stupid Democrats still refuse to accept what is clearly evident in current American politics, that no high standards of morality and decency are at play anymore.

“No-standards-no-rules” is the name of the current political game in the United States, but the Democrats are still playing nice hoping to incite a chimerical “bipartisanship” that is already long dead and gone.

You cannot take the idealist “high moral ground” when dealing with amoral, unprincipled, rabid rivals of the Maga sort, for if you do they will surely and mercilessly trample all over you, over, and over again.

It is way high time the Democrats took the gloves off and started playing their hand with sheer, unvarnished, naked facts and truths. To hell with holding the “higher moral ground”. Stand up! Get confrontational! Denounce out loud the Republicans' authoritarian, shameful cult of personality!

It is high time the Democrats got down in the mud to fight the Republicans on the Republicans' own chosen, even if fetid, rotten grounds, for if the Democrats do not do so anytime soon, we might as well start bidding farewell to the United States of America we once knew.
