The Political Suicide Mission the Republicans Are Currently Embarked Upon.

Donald Trump’s demagogic political persona continues to implode, thereby increasing the chances that the Republican Party may lose in November by much larger margins than may have previously been anticipated. And there’s nothing they can do to stop him from self-destructing.
We all know that his base of quasi-religious idol-worshippers will remain loyal to him come what may, but we also know that their numbers are NOT large enough to grant him the presidency in November. Recall that in 2020 Trump lost to Biden by a margin of 7 million popular votes (4.5%) and 74 Electoral College votes (13.75%).
We also know that the number of loudmouth MAGA idolaters has NOT increased either, quite the contrary. This means that, within the new political reality rapidly taking shape under the Harris-Walz banner, a decisive, clearly-uncontestable Democratic electoral victory is now credibly imaginable, and the consequences such reversal of chances would have for the GOP are unpredictable, possibly even disastrous.
Can you picture what would become of the Republican Party after Trump loses in November and he goes on to be prosecuted 1) in the Federal Election Interference case in DC, 2) the Election Interference case in Georgia and, 3) the Classified Documents case in Florida?
A discredited, discouraged, Trump-less Republican Party will be left to meander aimlessly like a headless chicken, probably past the midterm elections. And it is already way too late for the Republicans to go back and try to pick up whatever pieces there may be left of their pre-Trump conservative ideology. By now they’re all mired in the shameless, amoral, smelly Trumpian authoritarian muck up to their noses.
“Do or die” now seems to be the only choice available to them. Even if that means entangling the country’s future in a constant post-election string of bogus lawsuits and even violent attempts against any government institutions or individuals that may stand in the way of their efforts to delegitimize or outright overturn any Harris-Walz victories.
The GOP’s Führer is already spreading his manure-filled conspiracy theories designed to sow doubt on any accomplishments the Harris-Walz ticket may have already accomplished. In so doing, he’s fertilizing the grounds for his post-November 5th “Big Lie, Jan.6 2.0” insurrection attempt.
Recall that the commanding, but simple reason for Trump’s efforts to become President again is: TO STAY OUT OF JAIL. But, when November 6 dawns and all the world sees that the Wannabe-Emperor has NO clothes, what do you think he and his idol-worshippers will do?
Remember what Hitler did when he saw his “Thousand-Year Third Reich” literally turned to rubble on the ground? He gave his generals the specific order to destroy everything on their way back to Berlin. A scorched-earth policy. What do you think Trump will do when he can only foresee jailtime in his future? Give a scorched-earth command to his henchmen and followers? Quite likely.
In reference to the Republican Party, life-long Republican John Giles (R), Mayor of Meza, Arizona, recently told the crowds at a political rally in Phoenix that “You don’t owe a damn thing to that political party” and, in reference to Donald Trump, he told them that “…by all means, you don’t owe displaced loyalty to a candidate that is morally and ethically bankrupt” (see Giles video here).
If only there were more Republicans of Giles’ moral and ethical stature, meaning, Republicans who love their country more than they love their own traitorous political careers. Alas! There aren’t enough of them. But there isn’t ANY sympathy owed to those MAGA guys either. To hell with them.
Bottom line:
There is NO real alternative in November. There is no real option. And there are NO middle grounds about it either. Either you vote FOR preserving American Democracy and the American Rule or Law, or you vote Republican.
