The Sad, Shameful Crumbling of American Morals.

A guy who openly tried to subvert the 2020 elections through violent means. The same guy who tried to override the voice of millions of American voters through a fake electors scheme. The same guy who was found guilty on 34 counts of electoral fraud. The very same individual who was TWICE found guilty of sexually assaulting women. That guy, that very same guy, is the official candidate for President of the United States for the Republican Party, one of the two traditional political institutions in the nation.

Do you see any national honor in such candidacy? Do you see such corrupt individual as someone who the whole nation should be proud of? Believe it or not, millions of Americans would answer “yes” to those two questions. But what else could you expect from the members of a delusional quasi-religious cult of personality?

In my view, Trumpers are NOT Christians, no matter how hard they may try to prove to you that they are. I don’t at all profess to be a Christian, but I know what Exodus 20:3-6 says: “You shall have no other gods before me”. Yet, the members of the MAGA cult cherish their false messiah virtually as a god.

He tells his idolaters that he won the 2020 elections and in spite of the overwhelming legal and factual evidence that he didn’t, they all go around claiming that he did. He orders his idolaters in the Senate to kill a bipartisan border-protection bill that would have basically solved the border problem, and they kill it. He goes around talking about America only in demeaning, denigrating, apocalyptic terms and instead of standing up to him in defense of their own country, they all agree with him.

What can we say about such kind of people who have lost their self-respect as moral individuals? What values can we claim to have in common with them when, in their constant, in-your-face, willful lying, they only show to have lost their sense of shame and guilt?

Now, many Democrats are going around saying we shouldn’t demonize those Republicans who profess such blind, amoral allegiance to their Führer. They say we should consider that they are Americans too and that, for that simple reason, we should try to empathize with them and forgive them.

To any Democrat that may come and tell me I should do that, I say: Sure, I will empathize with those MAGA Republicans and I will forgive them, but only after they have openly recanted the madness of their cult. Not a single second before. I would even be willing to shake hands with those Republicans, but only after they have openly declared that they were utterly wrong in trying to dismantle our Democratic and Judicial Systems. Not one single second before.

“There is a time for every purpose under heaven”, says Ecclesiastes 3:1-11, and the time to forgive those MAGA mad people will only come after they have openly repented and openly apologized to the whole nation for wanting to cause such insidious, heinous harm to their own country, our country, the United States of America.

Hey, you MAGA fools! If you hate America so much, and if your Führer is so much in love with dictators like Putin and Kim, Jung-un, why don't you go apply for asylum in Russia? Or North Korea? Or even China?

America, love it or leave it!!
