One of the advantages of my being in Switzerland this time around was the fact that flying out of Zurich to Pristina, Kosovo, was considerably less expensive than flying out of Lyon, France, which would have been my most logical other option.

So, in the afternoon of August 20th, as my friends Tony and Franzisca were driving back home from Basel to Gossau, they dropped me over at the Zurich airport, were I stashed my luggage and then got on a train to the city to spend a few hours over there taking a few pictures.

It was a hot Summer day and I'm sure it would have felt really good to jump into the waters of the Limmat river, as the cheerfulness of the hundreds of people floating by in their yellow "Ducky" life savers attested.
