Coming to the city of Pekin, better known in China and in the English-speaking world as Beijing, and not having some Pekin Duck, would not be OK; at least not in my view. So, on the night of October 28th I went to one of Beijing’s best known “Roast Duck” restaurants and had a taste of it.

In the afternoon of that very same day I had gone to a special district called “Shichahai”. That’s a district I intend to go back to and do some bar-hopping, not only because of the good international beer they have there, as you may see in the photo No. 24 shown below, but because some of those bars have live music.

The photo album below also shows some clothing advertisements I saw in a magazine at a local restaurant/bar. The motto displayed in those clothes seems to be the motto guiding US politics these days, particularly on the right-wing side.
