These views from my apartment show how much the landscape has changed since I came here. The green rice fields I first saw in early September turned gold in the last days of October and then turned gray after getting swamped under a two-day heavy rain. In November they showed a light-brown color again only to turn snow-white at the beginning of December.
The strong winds in this part of Korea howl and whistle in a rather haunting and fascinating way.
