Coprophagy: the eating of feces that is normal behavior among many animals (Merriam-Webster). By now the whole world knows that Americans of the Republican persuasion suffer from a prolonged bout of Political Coprophagy, meaning that by now everybody knows that those Maga individuals are accustomed to absorbing and digesting the political feces that the Asshole-in-chief keeps feeding them.
Excrement, that is the only way to describe the reckless thoughts oozing like pus out of the putrid brain of the most powerful and most perverted President of the United States. How else can enyone describe the President's denial of Federal disaster relief to the tornado-stricken State of Arkansas? (see here)
Coprophagy is the only term that can most accurately describe the attitude of those Republican individuals who, in spite of knowing how wrong and detrimental to America the asshole-in-chief’s policies are, they still applaud him while consuming the political excrement that he feeds them.
But NOT all Americans are political coprophagists, by which I mean that NOT all Americans are Republicans. The Attorneys General of 12 Democratic States, including New York, Illinois, and Oregon, are already suing Trump for the uncalled-for, senseless, reckless tariffs he has on-and-off imposed that have harmed those States’ economies (see here). In so doing, those States are basically following in the steps of California, who filed its own lawsuit last week.
Coprophagy may well be a behavioral disorder that some animals are compelled to engage in under the influence of some disturbing circumstances, but that doesn’t necessarily have to be the case regarding humans.
Us humans are supposed to have higher levels of reasoning capabilities and higher levels of moral standards that are supposed to enable us to tell the difference between what kinds of ideas and what kinds of behavior are beneficial to ourselves and which ones aren’t. But that is not always the case.
In the current case of the Republicans, the way that the needle in their moral compass functions seems to have gone so astray that they can no longer tell whether their leaders are feeding them truths or moral feces.
Unfortunately, the acute and prolonged Political Coprophagy afflicting the Republican Party entails very dark and possibly long-lasting consequences for the rest of us and the rest of the world as well.
Is there anything you can do about this?
